Step 1 - Sensor
The AiroSensors initiate the data measurement accordingly to the sampling time configured (5 minutes by default).
Instantly the data is sent through a wireless signal. Seamless and automatic connections between sensors and AccessPoints are based on the best route.
If the communication fails (eg: AccessPoints are too far away or disconnected from the network/power supply), AiroSensors will start to record the data until communication is re-established (memory up to 2 months) and then the buffered data is uploaded. The loss of real-time data also means the loss of real-time alarms from the assets being monitored. However, ViGIE will alert the users for the Communication Failure (accordingly each sensor configuration).
Step 2 - AccessPoint
The AccessPoint allows to receive the data and send to the ViGIE cloud using the internet. An AccessPoint can handle an unlimited number of sensors.
Step 3 - ViGIE Cloud
Once the real-time data reaches the ViGIE Cloud Servers, it will be available for various types of processing, such as alerts or consulting data in real time, continuous data storage, among many other functionalities that the ViGIE platform offers.
