This accessory is included by default for the entire AiroSensors range. However, they are available as a spare part in case of loss or damage.
The accessory allows the AiroSensors to be applied to any surface. They have double-sided adhesive tape to make them easy to install.
Inside there is a magnet that activates the AiroSensor when it is first installed, as well as for immediate re-activation in cases where the AiroSensor was out of range of AccessPoint or has suffered a communication failure for a considerable period of time (for battery saving reasons).
Notes:
It is not mandatory to perform the dock/undock process manually as the sensor performs this process automatically every 12 hours (for sensors that are in battery saving mode).
The manual dock/undock process only speeds up this process so that you can have data in real time on the ViGIE Platform, without compromising any data that may be being logged.
